Nia Tracey
Nia Tracey Ostrand spent a decade modeling across the world, Milan, South Africa,Tokyo, New York. She was living a life that looked luminous from the outside while quietly falling apart on the inside. She knows what it is to smile for the camera while carrying the weight of depression so deep that it took the will to live with it.
She found Reiki at 30. During her first attunement she had a single thought: oh, there I am. It was the beginning of everything and why she thinks of her life as before and after Reiki.
Twenty years later she is a Reiki Master Teacher, Akashic Records Teacher, All Love Teacher, Theta Healing Practitioner, Yoga Instructor, InnerDance Guide, and Earth Medicine practitioner. She holds a fiction writing degree from Columbia College Chicago, which means she also knows how to find the story inside the wound.
She has been teaching Reiki for 19 years and Akashic Records for 17. She has sat with the deepest grief, the heaviest shame, and the darkest nights of the soul, her own and others'. She knows what it takes to come back. And she knows how to hold space for someone who isn't sure they can.
Nia has been featured in LA Magazine and has appeared as a guest on The Scott Emo Show and SheO TV. She is currently writing her first book, an exploration of the Akashic Records with her own story woven through it.
